Conditioner that does soften. (As much as 25 pts) Takes a week to work in. Considered by many as a better alternative to HL-2. Great for Drag Racing, and Asphalt, as well as dirt.
DIRECTIONS : For a Saturday Night Race
Monday night before the race using a spray bottle, paint roller, sponge or some other
method completely cover the tread of each tire with 3 or more coats of Track Tac® SST.
Allow each coat to dry before applying the next coat - about 10 to 20 minutes.
Tuesday night before the race, repeat what was done on Monday night.
Wrapping the tires is optional. If wrapping wait until the second night. Wait for the tire to
look dry. Wrap in dry paper towels and then saran wrap. Unwrap at least 24 hours before
racing.
For softer tires increase the number of coats to 5,6 or more with Track Tac® SST
The procedure can be repeated on Wednesday night for even softer tires.
Track Tac® SST will last for a full night of racing and increase the life of the tire if
applied correctly.
Track Tac® SST works on natural or synthetic rubber.
If racing on dirt, wipe down the tires with Track Tac® PRW-Orange with DRT between
heats, if possible.
If racing on asphalt wipe down the tires with Track Tac® PRW-Green between heats, if
possible.
Track Tac® SST can be used as a pre race wipe if desired. It is especially beneficial for
Drag Racing, regular and Junior Dragsters . Allow each coat to dry before applying the
next coat - about 10 to 20 minutes
