This 3.9 lb billet flywheel allows the use of electric start systems while delivering reliable ignition performance, improved durability, and stable high-RPM operation for kart racing and high-performance small engine builds.
The ARC Racing 6679 billet flywheel is engineered for Honda GX200 and 196cc clone-based engines that use electric start systems. Precision-machined from high-strength billet aluminum, this flywheel provides the durability, balance, and ignition stability required for kart racing and performance small engine applications.
With a weight of approximately 3.9 lbs, the flywheel delivers smooth rotational stability while supporting high-RPM operation. The integrated ring gear allows compatibility with electric start systems, making it ideal for racing engines and performance builds that require both durability and convenient starting.
Important: This flywheel will NOT work with OEM charging systems. Charging coils must be removed during installation.
Note: This flywheel is designed for clone-style crankshaft tapers and will not fit Predator 212 crankshafts.

No. Like most billet racing flywheels, the ARC 6679 does not support the OEM charging stator. Charging coils must be removed for installation.
ARC Racing recommends tightening the flywheel nut to 65 ft/lbs.
ARC recommends a minimum ignition coil gap of .030 inches for proper ignition performance.
