The Ducar DJ-1000-224 is a 224cc overhead valve performance engine designed for go kart, minibike, and racing small engine applications. Built with a larger displacement and performance-oriented design, this engine provides strong power output while maintaining compatibility with many Honda/Clone style performance components.
This engine features a 70mm bore and 58mm stroke along with a Clone-style cylinder head equipped with larger 27mm intake and 25mm exhaust valves using 5.5mm stems. The larger valve design allows improved airflow and works well with higher-lift performance camshafts.
A heavy-duty dual bearing cast block and taller deck height provide additional strength and durability for performance engine builds. The engine also accepts Honda/Clone style connecting rods, camshafts, and flywheels, making it compatible with many aftermarket racing components.
This engine is supplied without a governor and does not include a flywheel, allowing builders to select their preferred billet flywheel and performance components for their specific racing application.
